Jihadi John

Jihadi John, born on August seventeenth, nineteen eighty-eight, was a British militant of Kuwaiti descent. He gained notoriety as a member of the Islamic State (IS), where he was prominently featured in several videos that depicted the beheadings of captives during the years two thousand fourteen and two thousand fifteen.

His hostages referred to him as 'John', a name that emerged from his involvement in a four-person terrorist cell known for their English accents, which the media later dubbed 'The Beatles'. This moniker became synonymous with his image as a brutal executioner and warrior.

On November twelfth, two thousand fifteen, U.S. officials reported that Jihadi John had been targeted and struck by a drone in Raqqa, Syria. His death was later confirmed by the Islamic State in January of the following year, marking the end of a controversial and violent chapter in the ongoing conflict.
