Jim Ross, born on January third, nineteen fifty-two, is a prominent figure in the world of professional wrestling, renowned for his multifaceted career as a commentator, sports announcer, and podcaster. Currently signed with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), he serves as a commentator, analyst, and senior advisor, continuing to influence the industry he loves.

Affectionately known as 'Good Ol' JR' by fans, Ross has earned the title of the greatest wrestling commentator of all time. His illustrious career began in the early 1980s as the primary play-by-play announcer for Mid-South Wrestling, and he later provided commentary for the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) before joining the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) in nineteen ninety-three, making his debut at WrestleMania IX.

During his extensive tenure with WWE, Ross became the voice of the company, particularly during the iconic Attitude Era of the late nineteen nineties and early two thousands.
