Jim Simons

Jim Simons, born on April 25, 1938, is a renowned American mathematician, financier, and philanthropist, celebrated for his groundbreaking contributions to both mathematics and the financial world. As the founder of Renaissance Technologies, a quantitative hedge fund based in East Setauket, New York, Simons revolutionized investment strategies by employing sophisticated mathematical models and algorithms to exploit market inefficiencies.
