Jim Starlin

James P. Starlin, born on October 9, 1949, is a prominent American comics artist and writer whose career took flight in the early 1970s. He is celebrated for his contributions to the genre of space opera, particularly through his innovative work with Marvel Comics. Starlin is renowned for revamping iconic characters such as Captain Marvel and Adam Warlock, and he played a pivotal role in the creation of beloved figures like Thanos, Drax the Destroyer, Gamora, and Shang-Chi.

Among his most notable achievements is the miniseries The Infinity Gauntlet, along with its sequels, The Infinity War and The Infinity Crusade.
