Jimmy Garoppolo

James Garoppolo, widely known as "Jimmy G," was born on November 2, 1991. He is an accomplished American professional football quarterback who has made significant contributions to the sport. Garoppolo's journey began at Eastern Illinois University, where he excelled as a college football player, setting impressive school records for career passing yards and touchdowns. His outstanding performance earned him the prestigious Walter Payton Award during his senior year.

In 2014, Garoppolo was selected in the second round of the NFL draft by the New England Patriots. During his four seasons with the team, he served as a backup to the legendary Tom Brady and was part of two Super Bowl-winning squads, gaining invaluable experience in high-pressure situations.

Garoppolo's career took a pivotal turn when he was traded to the San Francisco 49ers towards the end of the 2017 season. He played a crucial role in turning around a struggling team, leading them to five consecutive victories to close out the season. His most notable achievement came in 2019 when he guided the 49ers to the number one seed in the NFC and an appearance in Super Bowl LIV.
