Jimmy Page

Jimmy Page, born on January 9, 1944, is an iconic English musician and producer renowned for his extraordinary contributions as the guitarist and founder of the legendary rock band Led Zeppelin. His journey in music began as a studio session musician in London, where he quickly gained recognition as a prominent session guitarist by the mid-1960s.

In 1966, Page joined the Yardbirds, a band that would serve as a stepping stone for his future endeavors. Following the Yardbirds' disbandment in 1968, he established Led Zeppelin, a group that would dominate the rock scene until 1980. The band's innovative sound and powerful performances solidified their place in music history.

After the tragic passing of Led Zeppelin's drummer, John Bonham, in 1980, Page continued to showcase his musical prowess through various collaborations, including projects with XYZ, the Firm, and Coverdale–Page. He also reunited with Robert Plant for the acclaimed Page and Plant duo, and participated in the 2007 Led Zeppelin reunion, which was later immortalized in the concert film 'Celebration Day.'
