Jintara Poonlarp

Jintara Poonlarp, born on March sixth, nineteen sixty-nine, is a celebrated Thai singer and actress renowned for her contributions to the mor lam and luk thung music genres. With a remarkable career spanning over thirty-three years, she has become one of the most prolific artists in her field, releasing an impressive fifty original albums and forty-seven singles, alongside numerous compilations.

Her musical repertoire showcases a balanced blend of mor lam, the traditional Thai country music, and luk thung, a pop-country fusion. Among her extensive catalog, two of her most iconic tracks are the beloved hits 'Ma Tammai' and 'Faen Ja,' which she recorded in collaboration with the legendary Thongchai McIntyre.

Jintara is affectionately known by her nickname, Jin, and is often referred to by the epithet 'sao siang pin,' which translates to 'lute-voiced girl.' Her distinctive style is characterized by her short hair with bangs, setting her apart in the vibrant Thai music scene.
