Jiří Jarošík

Jiří Jarošík, born on October twenty-seventh, nineteen seventy-seven, is a distinguished Czech professional football manager and former player, currently at the helm of Kazakhstani club Shakhter Karagandy. His playing career was marked by versatility, as he adeptly filled roles as both a defender and midfielder.

Jarošík's football journey began in his homeland, where he achieved remarkable success with Sparta Prague, securing six league titles in just seven years. His talent soon took him to CSKA Moscow, where he celebrated a Russian Premier League title in two thousand three. In January two thousand five, he made a significant move to Chelsea, contributing to their Premier League triumph and spending time on loan at Birmingham City.

His career continued to flourish as he joined Celtic, clinching the Scottish Premier League title during the two thousand six to seven season. Later, he returned to Russia with Krylia Sovetov, had a second spell at Sparta Prague, and ventured into Spain, playing for Real Zaragoza and Deportivo Alavés.
