Joan Haggerty

Joan Haggerty, a talented Canadian novelist, was born on April twenty-sixth, nineteen forty in Vancouver, British Columbia. Her passion for storytelling was nurtured at the University of British Columbia, where she pursued studies in English and Theatre.

Between nineteen sixty-two and nineteen seventy-two, Haggerty's life took her across the globe, as she resided in vibrant cities such as London, England, Formentera, Spain, and New York City. These diverse experiences undoubtedly enriched her writing, allowing her to draw inspiration from various cultures and environments.

Today, Haggerty calls Telkwa, British Columbia home, where she enjoys the serene beauty of her surroundings, living above the Widzin'kwa River. Her journey as a novelist continues to evolve, reflecting her deep connection to both her Canadian roots and her international experiences.
