Joaquim Rodríguez, born on May twelfth, nineteen seventy-nine, is a distinguished Spanish cyclist renowned for his remarkable career in road bicycle racing from two thousand one to two thousand sixteen. He showcased his talents while competing for prominent teams such as ONCE–Eroski, Saunier Duval–Prodir, Caisse d'Epargne, and Team Katusha.
Throughout his illustrious career, Rodríguez achieved significant milestones, including fourteen Grand Tour stage victories and five overall podium finishes. His impressive performances earned him second place at the two thousand twelve Giro d'Italia and the two thousand fifteen Vuelta a España, along with third-place finishes at the two thousand ten Vuelta a España, the two thousand twelve Vuelta a España, and the two thousand thirteen Tour de France.
In addition to his Grand Tour successes, Rodríguez topped the UCI world rankings in two thousand ten, two thousand twelve, and two thousand thirteen.
