Jocelyn Guevremont

Jocelyn Guevremont, born on March first, nineteen fifty-one, is a distinguished former professional ice hockey defenceman from Canada. His career spanned nine seasons in the National Hockey League, where he showcased his skills with the Vancouver Canucks, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Rangers from nineteen seventy-one to nineteen eighty.

Guevremont's journey began in junior hockey, where he made a name for himself with the Montreal Junior Canadiens. His exceptional talent earned him spots on the Ontario Hockey Association's Second and First All-Star Teams in consecutive years. In nineteen seventy-one, he was honored with the Max Kaminsky Trophy, recognizing him as the most outstanding defenceman in the OHA. Additionally, he celebrated victories in the Memorial Cup in nineteen sixty-nine and nineteen seventy.

Drafted third overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the first round of the nineteen seventy-one NHL Amateur Draft, Guevremont's career took a significant turn when he was traded to the Buffalo Sabres in nineteen seventy-four. He later joined the New York Rangers in nineteen seventy-nine. Notably, he played a pivotal role in the Sabres' journey to the nineteen seventy-five Stanley Cup Finals.
