Jodi Proznick

Jodi Proznick, born on October twenty-third, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished Canadian jazz bassist, composer, and educator. With a passion for music that resonates through her work, she has made significant contributions to the jazz scene in Canada.

In two thousand nineteen, Proznick was honored as the Jazz Artist of the Year at the Western Canadian Music Awards, a testament to her exceptional talent and dedication to her craft. Additionally, she has been nominated for four Juno Awards, further solidifying her status as a prominent figure in the jazz community.
