Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Joe Colborne

Joe Colborne, born on January 30, 1990, is a former professional ice hockey forward from Canada. He was recognized for his potential early on, being selected in the first round as the sixteenth overall pick by the Boston Bruins during the 2008 NHL Entry Draft. However, his journey with the Bruins was short-lived, as he never had the opportunity to play for the team.

In 2011, Colborne was traded to the Toronto Maple Leafs, where he spent parts of three seasons. His time in Toronto was marked by development and growth, but it was in 2013 that he made a significant move to the Calgary Flames, furthering his career in the NHL.

After three seasons with the Flames, Colborne signed as a free agent with the Colorado Avalanche in the summer of 2016. He contributed to the Avalanche organization for parts of two seasons, showcasing his skills on the ice. Unfortunately, his career was cut short due to a concussion that occurred midway through the 2017–18 season, leading to his early retirement from professional hockey.
