Joe Flacco

Joe Flacco, born on January 16, 1985, is a prominent American professional football quarterback currently playing for the Cincinnati Bengals in the National Football League (NFL). His football journey began in college, where he showcased his talent with the Pittsburgh Panthers and the Delaware Fightin' Blue Hens. Flacco's impressive skills led to his selection by the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2008 NFL Draft.

During his decade-long tenure with the Ravens, Flacco established himself as a key player, serving as the starting quarterback from 2008 until midway through the 2018 season. Under his leadership, the Ravens made six playoff appearances, clinched the AFC North title twice, and reached three AFC Championship Games. His crowning achievement came in the 2012 season when he guided the team to victory in Super Bowl XLVII, earning the title of Super Bowl MVP and tying Joe Montana's record for touchdown passes in a single postseason without an interception.

Following a decline in performance and a hip injury, Flacco lost his starting position to rookie Lamar Jackson and was traded to the Denver Broncos in 2019. Unfortunately, a neck injury cut his season short, leading to his release from the Broncos. Flacco then joined the New York Jets in 2020 as a backup and later signed with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2021, only to return to the Jets after an injury to Zach Wilson.

In 2023, Flacco joined the Cleveland Browns, stepping in after Deshaun Watson's season-ending injury. He not only led the team to a playoff berth but also earned the Comeback Player of the Year award. After a brief stint with the Indianapolis Colts, he returned to Cleveland in 2025. Following Joe Burrow's injury, Flacco was traded to the Cincinnati Bengals, where he was selected for his first Pro Bowl, a notable achievement considering he had previously declined an invitation in 2015.
