Joe Manchin

Joe Manchin, born on August twenty-four, nineteen forty-seven, is a prominent American politician and businessman hailing from West Virginia. His political journey began with his tenure as the twenty-seventh secretary of state of West Virginia from two thousand one to two thousand five. Following this role, he served as the thirty-fourth governor of West Virginia from two thousand five to two thousand ten, before being elected as a United States senator in a special election in two thousand ten, filling the seat left vacant by the late Senator Robert Byrd.

Throughout his career, Manchin has been recognized as a centrist figure within the Senate, often regarded as the most conservative member of the Senate Democratic Caucus.
