Joel Mokyr

Joel Mokyr, born on July 26, 1946, is a distinguished economic historian and university educator, renowned for his contributions to the understanding of technological progress and economic growth. He holds the prestigious title of Robert H. Strotz Professor of Arts and Sciences at Northwestern University, where he has significantly influenced the field of economics through his teaching and research.
