Joel Quenneville

Joel Quenneville, born on September fifteenth, nineteen fifty-eight, is a distinguished Canadian-American ice hockey coach and former player. Currently, he serves as the head coach for the Anaheim Ducks in the National Hockey League (NHL). Known affectionately as 'Coach Q', Quenneville has made a significant mark in the world of ice hockey, ranking second in NHL coaching wins with one thousand victories, trailing only behind the legendary Scotty Bowman.

Quenneville's most notable achievements came during his tenure with the Chicago Blackhawks, where he coached from two thousand eight to two thousand eighteen. Under his leadership, the Blackhawks celebrated three Stanley Cup championships in two thousand ten, two thousand thirteen, and two thousand fifteen. The victory in two thousand ten was particularly historic, as it marked the franchise's first championship since nineteen sixty-one, effectively ending the longest Stanley Cup drought at that time.

Before his success with the Blackhawks, Quenneville held head coaching positions with several other NHL teams. He began his coaching career with the St. Louis Blues from nineteen ninety-six to two thousand four, followed by a stint with the Colorado Avalanche from two thousand five to two thousand eight. After his time with the Blackhawks, he took the helm of the Florida Panthers from two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty-one, further solidifying his reputation as one of the top coaches in the league.
