Joey Badass

Joey Badass, born Jo-Vaughn Virginie Scott on January 20, 1995, in Brooklyn, New York City, is a multifaceted American artist known for his contributions as a rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor. He emerged on the music scene in 2011 by co-founding the regional hip-hop group Pro Era, which played a significant role in shaping the contemporary hip-hop landscape.

In 2012, Joey Badass made his solo debut with the critically acclaimed mixtape, 1999, released under Cinematic Music Group. This was followed by Summer Knights in 2013, both of which showcased his lyrical prowess and unique style, earning him a dedicated fanbase and critical recognition.

His first two studio albums, B4.Da.$$ in 2015 and All-Amerikkkan Badass in 2017, both achieved remarkable success, peaking at number five on the Billboard 200 chart.
