John Chayka

John Chayka, born on June ninth, nineteen eighty-nine, is a prominent sports executive known for his groundbreaking role in the National Hockey League. He made history as the youngest general manager in NHL history at the age of twenty-six when he took the helm of the Arizona Coyotes in May two thousand sixteen. His tenure was marked by a record of one hundred thirty-one wins, one hundred forty-seven losses, and thirty-eight overtime losses over four seasons, during which the Coyotes secured their first playoff berth since two thousand twelve.

Before ascending to the general manager position, Chayka served as the assistant general manager for the Coyotes. Chayka's academic credentials include a degree from the Ivey Business School at the University of Western Ontario, which further solidified his expertise in sports management.
