John F. Kelly

John F. Kelly, born on May eleventh, nineteen fifty, in Boston, Massachusetts, is a distinguished American former political advisor and retired U.S. Marine Corps general. His military career culminated in his role as a four-star general, where he commanded the United States Southern Command from two thousand twelve to two thousand sixteen, overseeing military operations across Central America, South America, and the Caribbean.

In January two thousand seventeen, Kelly transitioned to the political arena, becoming the first Secretary of Homeland Security in the Trump administration. Known for his stringent enforcement of immigration laws, he quickly gained a reputation for his assertive approach. After just six months, he was appointed as White House chief of staff, a position he held until January two thousand nineteen, making him the first career military officer to serve in this role since Alexander Haig.
