John Hoeven

John Hoeven, born on March 13, 1957, is a prominent American politician and banker, currently serving as the senior U.S. senator from North Dakota. Hoeven has held this esteemed position since 2011, representing the Republican Party. His political journey began as the 31st governor of North Dakota, a role he occupied from 2000 to 2010, where he made significant contributions to the state's governance.

In 2010, Hoeven transitioned to the U.S. Senate, succeeding Senator Byron Dorgan, who opted not to seek reelection.
