John McGrane

John McGrane, born on October twelfth, nineteen fifty-two, is a distinguished Scottish-Canadian former soccer player and coach, renowned for his defensive prowess on the field.

His professional journey began at Hamilton City, where he laid the foundation for a remarkable career. McGrane then transitioned to the North American Soccer League, where he dedicated nine years to teams such as the Los Angeles Aztecs, the Montreal Manic, the Chicago Sting, and the Minnesota Strikers, showcasing his skills and determination.

In addition to his club success, McGrane represented Canada on the international stage, earning twelve caps and competing at the 1976 Summer Olympics, a testament to his talent and commitment to the sport.
