John Njue

John Njue, born on January first, nineteen forty-six, is a distinguished Kenyan cardinal of the Catholic Church. His journey in the ecclesiastical hierarchy is marked by significant milestones, including his tenure as the fourth Archbishop of Nairobi from two thousand seven to two thousand twenty-one.

Before ascending to the archbishopric, Njue served as the Coadjutor Archbishop of Nyeri from two thousand two to two thousand seven. His earlier role as the Bishop of Embu spanned from nineteen eighty-six to two thousand two, where he laid the groundwork for his future leadership within the Church.
