His journey into music took him to Bishop's University in Lennoxville, Quebec, where he not only pursued his studies but also played as a kicker on the varsity football team. It was during this time that he met his future wife, marking the beginning of a personal and professional partnership that would support his musical aspirations.

Reid's passion for country music led him to Nashville, Tennessee, where he established his career.
