Jonathan Cleveland, born on December nineteenth, nineteen seventy, is a distinguished former competition swimmer who specialized in breaststroke. Hailing from the United States, he represented Canada in three Summer Olympics, beginning in nineteen eighty-eight.
During the nineteen ninety-two Olympics, Cleveland achieved a remarkable feat by winning a bronze medal as part of the Canadian team in the men's four by one hundred metre medley relay, alongside teammates Mark Tewksbury, Marcel Gery, and Stephen Clarke. His individual performance at the nineteen eighty-eight Summer Olympics in Seoul saw him secure seventh place in the two hundred metre breaststroke, showcasing his talent on an international stage.
In addition to his Olympic accomplishments, Cleveland shone at the nineteen ninety Commonwealth Games, where he clinched gold medals in both the men's two hundred metre breaststroke and the four by one hundred metre medley relay.
