Jonathan David

Jonathan David, born on January 14, 2000, is a talented professional soccer player who currently plays as a forward for the prestigious Serie A club Juventus. His journey in football began in the United States, but he later represented Canada on the international stage, showcasing his skills for the national team.

At a young age, David moved to Haiti with his parents before immigrating to Ottawa, Canada, at the age of six. Growing up in the Franco-Ontarian community of East Ottawa, he honed his skills with various local youth clubs. His professional career took off in Belgium in 2018 when he made his debut for Gent, marking the beginning of an impressive trajectory.

After two successful seasons at Gent, David made headlines by transferring to French club Lille for a reported thirty million euros, making him the most expensive Canadian transfer in history.
