Jonathan Rhys Meyers

Jonathan Rhys Meyers, born on July 27, 1977, is a celebrated Irish actor and singer, renowned for his compelling performances across both film and television. He gained prominence with his roles in notable films such as Michael Collins (1996), Velvet Goldmine (1998), and Bend It Like Beckham (2002). His versatility is further showcased in his performances in Alexander (2004), Match Point (2005), and Mission: Impossible III (2006).

In the realm of television, Meyers is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Elvis Presley in the biographical miniseries Elvis (2005), a role that earned him a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. He also captivated audiences as King Henry VIII in the historical drama The Tudors (2007–10), which garnered him two Golden Globe nominations. His role as Dracula in the NBC series Dracula (2013–14) and as Bishop Heahmund in Vikings further solidified his status as a versatile actor.

Continuing to evolve as an artist, Meyers starred in Albert Nobbs (2011) and took on the role of the villain Valentine Morgenstern in The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones (2013).
