Jonida Maliqi

Jonida Maliqi, born on March twenty-six, nineteen eighty-three, is a prominent Albanian singer and television presenter known for her dynamic presence in the entertainment industry.

Throughout her illustrious career, Maliqi has garnered significant recognition, winning six awards at Kënga Magjike, including a first-place finish in two thousand eight. Her talent was further acknowledged at Top Fest, where she secured accolades in two thousand six and two thousand ten.

In addition to her musical achievements, Maliqi has showcased her versatility as a performer. She portrayed Bithia in the Albanian adaptation of The Ten Commandments: The Musical and took on the role of Juliet in the Albanian theatre production of Roméo et Juliette.

Her television career is equally impressive; in two thousand twelve, she was appointed captain of her team on the Albanian version of I Love My Country. Two years later, she co-hosted the fourth season of Dancing with the Stars. In two thousand sixteen, she served as a judge on the fifth season of The Voice of Albania, further solidifying her status in the industry.

In two thousand eighteen, Maliqi represented Albania at the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing ninth in the second semi-final with ninety-six points and ultimately placing seventeenth in the grand final.
