Joost Klein

Joost Klein, born on November 10, 1997, is a multifaceted Dutch artist known for his dynamic contributions to the music industry as a record producer, rapper, singer-songwriter, and music video director. He initially gained fame as a YouTuber, but his passion for music has propelled him to the forefront of the hip hop scene, where he seamlessly blends genres such as electronic music, drum and bass, hardstyle, hyperpop, and gabber.

With a discography that includes ten studio albums, Klein has made a significant impact on the Dutch music charts, with two of his albums reaching the top ten of the Dutch Album Top 100. His chart-topping singles, including the popular tracks "Wachtmuziek" (2022), "Friesenjung" (2023, featuring Ski Aggu and Otto Waalkes), and the Eurovision entry "Europapa" (2024), have solidified his status as a leading figure in contemporary music.

"Europapa" not only marked a milestone as the Netherlands' representative for the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 but also became Klein's first song to top both the Dutch Top 40 and Single Top 100. Klein's performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in April 2026 was a highlight of his North American tour, showcasing his growing popularity. Additionally, he took on the role of a coach on the tenth season of The Voice van Vlaanderen, which premiered on February 13, 2026, further expanding his influence in the entertainment industry.
