Jordan Bardella

Jordan Bardella, born on September thirteenth, nineteen ninety-five, is a prominent French politician and student, currently serving as the president of the National Rally (RN) since 2022. His political journey began as a regional councillor of Île-de-France in two thousand fifteen, a role he held until his resignation in two thousand twenty-five. Bardella's ascent in the RN was marked by his tenure as vice-president from two thousand nineteen to two thousand twenty-one and as the party's spokesman from two thousand seventeen to two thousand nineteen.

In two thousand nineteen, Bardella made a significant impact as the lead candidate for the RN in the European Parliament elections, subsequently becoming a Member of the European Parliament (MEP). His leadership skills were further demonstrated when he took on the role of acting president of the RN from September two thousand twenty-one to November two thousand twenty-two, before being officially elected as president.

During his time in office, Bardella also led the RN-dominated coalition in the two thousand twenty-four French legislative election, achieving historic gains for the far-right party, albeit below expectations. His influence extends beyond national politics, as he was the president of the party's youth wing, Génération Nation, from two thousand eighteen to two thousand twenty-one, which was later renamed Rassemblement National de la Jeunesse.
