Jordana Spiro

Jordana Spiro, born on April twelfth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a multifaceted American talent known for her work as an actress, director, and writer. She has captivated audiences with her performances in various films and television series, most notably in Netflix's acclaimed drama Ozark and the TBS comedy My Boys.

In addition to her acting career, Spiro has made significant strides in filmmaking. Her debut feature, Night Comes On, which she directed and co-wrote alongside Angelica Nwandu, premiered at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in two thousand eighteen. This project was developed through the Sundance Institute's Directors, Screenwriters, and Composers Labs, as well as a Cinereach development grant.

Spiro's short film Skin also garnered attention, premiering at Sundance and winning the Women In Film Productions award. It received an Honorable Mention Award at SXSW and was showcased at notable festivals including Telluride, Palm Springs, and AFI.

Her academic background includes earning a Master of Fine Arts in Film from Columbia University in two thousand fifteen, where she was honored with the Adrienne Shelly Foundation Fellowship.
