Jordin Sparks

Jordin Sparks, born on December 22, 1989, is a multifaceted American talent known for her remarkable contributions as a singer, actress, and businessperson. She gained widespread recognition in 2007 when she became the youngest winner of the sixth season of American Idol at just seventeen years old. Her self-titled debut album, released the same year, achieved both critical acclaim and commercial success, peaking at number ten on the Billboard 200 and earning platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America. The album featured hit singles like 'Tattoo' and 'No Air,' the latter of which, a collaboration with Chris Brown, garnered a Grammy Award nomination and remains one of the highest-selling songs by an American Idol contestant.

Following her debut, Sparks released her second studio album, Battlefield, in 2009, which debuted at number seven on the Billboard 200. The title track became a top ten hit, making her the only American Idol contestant to have her first five singles reach the top twenty. After a hiatus from music, she returned in 2014 with her debut mixtape, #ByeFelicia, under Salaam Remi's Louder Than Life label.
