José Ángel (footballer, born September 1989)

José Ángel Valdés Díaz, widely known as José Ángel or Cote, was born on September fifth, nineteen eighty-nine, in Spain. He is a former professional footballer who made his mark primarily as a left-back. Over the course of his impressive seventeen-year career, he became a familiar face in the world of football, particularly for his contributions to Sporting de Gijón.

Throughout his career, José Ángel showcased his skills in various top-tier leagues, amassing a total of two hundred twenty-two appearances in La Liga, where he scored five goals during his eleven seasons with clubs such as Sporting de Gijón, Real Sociedad, Villarreal, Eibar, and Osasuna.
