Joseph-Désiré Job

Joseph-Désiré Job, born on December first, nineteen seventy-seven, is a former professional footballer renowned for his role as a forward. Hailing from France, he proudly represented the Cameroon national team during his illustrious career.

Job began his football journey in France before making a significant move to the English club Middlesbrough. His six-year tenure at the club is particularly memorable for his pivotal contribution in the 2004 League Cup Final, where he scored one of the two goals that led Middlesbrough to their first-ever trophy.

In addition to his time in England, Job showcased his talents across various international leagues, playing for clubs in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Turkey, and Belgium. Notably, while with Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia, he achieved the remarkable feat of winning the 2005 AFC Champions League, scoring in the final match.
