Joseph P. Kerwin

Joseph P. Kerwin, born on February 19, 1932, is a distinguished American physician and former NASA astronaut whose contributions to space exploration are noteworthy. He made history as the first physician selected for astronaut training and became the first American doctor to venture into space.
