Josh MacNevin, born on July fourteenth, nineteen seventy-seven, is a distinguished Canadian professional ice hockey defenceman. His journey in the world of ice hockey began when he was selected by the New Jersey Devils in the fourth round of the nineteen ninety-six NHL Entry Draft, being the one hundred first overall pick.

MacNevin's early career saw him donning the jersey of various minor league teams, starting with a brief stint of ten games for the Albany River Rats in the American Hockey League in nineteen ninety-nine. His path then led him through the East Coast Hockey League before he ventured to Europe in two thousand, where he began his European career with the Fassa Falcons in Italy.

Throughout his career, MacNevin showcased his skills in several prominent leagues, including one season with ERC Ingolstadt in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga and two seasons with Växjö Lakers Hockey in the HockeyAllsvenskan. In two thousand ten, he signed a one-year contract with AIK, which was set to conclude after the two thousand ten to eleven Elitserien season. However, he was temporarily lent to HPK in the Finnish SM-liiga for a few games at the start of the season due to taxation reasons.

Currently, Josh MacNevin has transitioned into coaching and serves as an assistant coach with the Lethbridge Hurricanes in the Western Hockey League, continuing to contribute to the sport he loves.
