Juicy J

Jordan Michael Houston III, known to the world as Juicy J, was born on April 5, 1975, in Memphis, Tennessee. He is a prominent figure in the music industry, recognized as a rapper, record producer, songwriter, and music executive. Juicy J is a founding member of the influential Southern hip-hop group Three 6 Mafia, which was established in 1991. The group initially gained traction as an underground act before achieving mainstream success, particularly after signing with Loud Records in two thousand.

Three 6 Mafia's breakthrough came with their 2005 single, 'Stay Fly,' which reached number thirteen on the Billboard Hot 100. That same year, they recorded the Oscar-winning song 'It's Hard out Here for a Pimp' for the film Hustle & Flow. Juicy J's solo career began to take shape with the release of his first two studio albums, Chronicles of the Juice Man in two thousand two and Hustle Till I Die in two thousand nine, both of which were released between Three 6 Mafia projects.

In two thousand eleven, during a hiatus from the group, Juicy J pursued solo endeavors and signed with Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Records and Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Entertainment. His club anthem 'Bandz a Make Her Dance,' featuring Lil Wayne and 2 Chainz, peaked within the top forty of the Billboard Hot 100 and set the stage for his major label debut, Stay Trippy, released in two thousand thirteen, which reached number four on the Billboard 200.

Throughout his career, Juicy J has collaborated with numerous artists, contributing to hits like '23' by Mike Will Made It and 'Dark Horse' by Katy Perry, the latter of which topped the Billboard Hot 100. His fourth album, Rubba Band Business, released in two thousand seventeen, did not achieve the expected commercial success, leading him to return to an independent career with The Hustle Continues in two thousand twenty. In addition to his recording career, Juicy J has made significant contributions as a producer, working with artists such as Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, and Megan Thee Stallion, solidifying his status as a versatile force in the music industry.
