Julie Fader

Julie Fader is a talented Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter, celebrated for her contributions as a keyboard player and backing vocalist. She has collaborated with notable artists such as Sarah Harmer, Chad VanGaalen, and Great Lake Swimmers, showcasing her versatility and depth in the music industry.

In September two thousand nine, Julie made her mark as a solo artist with the release of her debut album, Outside In. This album was recorded and produced by Graham Walsh of Holy Fuck and features an impressive lineup of guest appearances, including Sarah Harmer, Chad VanGaalen, and Tony Dekker, among others.

Before embarking on her solo career, Julie was the lead vocalist for the Hamilton indie rock band Flux A.D. Her time with the band saw her collaborate with talented musicians such as Graham Walsh and Bill Majoros, further solidifying her reputation in the indie music scene.

Initially credited as Julie MacDonald, she has evolved as an artist, embracing her identity and expanding her artistic horizons beyond music to include visual art.
