Juliette Gordon Low

Inspired by Robert Baden-Powell, the founder of the Scout Movement, Low became involved in the Girl Guide movement in England. In 1911, she took the initiative to form her own group of Girl Guides, showcasing her leadership and vision for empowering young girls.

Upon returning to the United States in 1912, Low established the first Girl Guide troop in Savannah, Georgia, marking a significant milestone in American scouting history.
