Julio Montaner

Julio S. G. Montaner, born on April 13, 1956, is a distinguished Argentine-Canadian physician and researcher renowned for his significant contributions to the field of HIV/AIDS. He serves as the director of the British Columbia Centre for Excellence in HIV/AIDS and holds the esteemed position of chair in AIDS Research at the University of British Columbia. His leadership extends to heading the Division of AIDS within the Faculty of Medicine, where he has made a profound impact on both research and clinical practice.
