During his time with Sparta Prague, Bielik achieved remarkable success, winning seven Czechoslovak First League titles between nineteen eighty-three and nineteen ninety-one. His prowess on the field earned him a place in the Czechoslovakia national team, where he represented his country eighteen times and participated in the prestigious nineteen ninety FIFA World Cup.

After his successful stint in Czechoslovakia, Bielik ventured to Japan to play for Sanfrecce Hiroshima. He returned to Slovakia in nineteen ninety-four, continuing his career at the top level with Union Cheb and Hradec Králové.

Transitioning from player to coach, Bielik took the helm at FK Viktoria Žižkov and later at FK Jablonec, contributing to the development of football in Slovakia.
