Junior Stanislas

Junior Stanislas, born on November 26, 1989, is an English former professional footballer renowned for his role as a winger. He is best remembered for his significant contributions to AFC Bournemouth during their remarkable promotion seasons to the Premier League. Following his playing career, he transitioned into coaching and currently serves as the first team coach at Ipswich Town.

Stanislas began his football journey at the young age of ten, joining the youth team of West Ham United in 2000. He progressed through the ranks and signed a three-year academy contract in the summer of 2006, where he showcased his talent by playing regularly for the under-18 side and reserves. His first taste of first-team action came in March 2009, when he made his debut for West Ham at the age of nineteen, solidifying his place in the squad with a three-and-a-half-year contract signed in April 2009.

In August 2011, Stanislas made a move to Championship club Burnley, signing a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee. His career took a pivotal turn in June 2014 when he joined Bournemouth on a free transfer. His impact was immediate, helping the club secure the Championship title in his debut season. He continued to play for Bournemouth until the conclusion of his playing career.

After retiring from professional football, Stanislas took on a coaching role, serving as the under-18s assistant coach at Bournemouth from 2023 until July 2025. His journey from a promising youth player to a key figure in coaching reflects his deep commitment to the sport and his desire to nurture the next generation of football talent.
