Kahena Kunze

Kahena Kunze, born on March twelfth, nineteen ninety-one, is a distinguished Brazilian sailor renowned for her exceptional skills in the 49er FX class. Her remarkable journey in sailing has seen her achieve significant milestones, including winning the 49er FX class at the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championships alongside her teammate Martine Grael.

In a historic moment for Brazilian sports, Kahena clinched a gold medal in the inaugural 49er FX race at the 2016 Rio Olympics, a triumph she would replicate at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, solidifying her status as one of the top sailors in the world.

Beyond her Olympic success, Kahena expanded her horizons by competing for the Brazil SailGP Team in the SailGP competition in 2025. The following year, she took on a new challenge as a strategist for the Danish team, showcasing her versatility and strategic acumen in the sport.
