Kaliopi

Kaliopi Bukle, born on December 28, 1966, is a celebrated Macedonian singer-songwriter whose career has spanned several decades. Emerging in the vibrant music scene of 1980s Yugoslavia, she initially gained recognition as the lead vocalist of her eponymous band, showcasing her powerful voice and artistic talent.

Over the years, Kaliopi has established herself as a prominent figure in the music industry, not only in North Macedonia but also throughout the former Yugoslavia. Her contributions as a composer and lyricist have further solidified her status as a versatile artist, capable of captivating audiences with her emotive performances.

In addition to her successful career in music, Kaliopi has represented Macedonia on the international stage, participating in the Eurovision Song Contest twice. Her first appearance was in 2012 in Baku, Azerbaijan, where she performed the song 'Crno i belo.' She returned to the competition in 2016, this time in Stockholm, Sweden, with her entry 'Dona,' further enhancing her reputation as a leading artist in the region.
