Kamal Nath

Kamal Nath, born on November eighteenth, nineteen forty-six, is a prominent Indian politician known for his extensive service in the political landscape of Madhya Pradesh. He held the esteemed position of the 18th Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh from December seventeenth, two thousand eighteen, until his resignation on March twentieth, two thousand twenty, following a political crisis that led to a loss of majority in the government.

As a senior member of the Indian National Congress, Nath has made significant contributions to the state and the nation. He served as the Minister of Urban Development and has been a long-standing member of the Lok Sabha, representing the Chhindwara constituency of Madhya Pradesh for nine terms. His leadership was pivotal during the November to December two thousand eighteen assembly elections, where he was elected president of the Madhya Pradesh Congress Committee.

In addition to his role as Chief Minister, Nath was the Leader of the Opposition in the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly from March two thousand twenty to April two thousand twenty-two.
