Kang Daniel, born Kang Eui-geon on December 10, 1996, is a multifaceted South Korean artist known for his talents as a singer-songwriter, actor, television host, and businessman. He gained widespread recognition in early 2017 after winning first place in the second season of the reality competition series Produce 101. This victory led to his role in the highly successful boy group Wanna One, which became a significant force in the K-pop industry.
After Wanna One disbanded, Kang Daniel took a six-month hiatus to manage his career independently.
