Kaossara Sani

Kaossara Sani is a prominent Togolese environmentalist, writer, and sociologist, making significant strides in her field from her base in Lomé, Togo. With a passion for sustainable development and social justice, she has dedicated her career to addressing pressing environmental issues and advocating for community empowerment.

As the founder of Africa Optimism, Kaossara has created a platform that promotes positive narratives about Africa, challenging stereotypes and fostering a sense of hope and resilience among its people. Her work emphasizes the importance of local solutions to global challenges, particularly in the context of environmental sustainability.

In addition to her role at Africa Optimism, she is the co-founder and executive director of the Act on Sahel Movement. This initiative focuses on mobilizing resources and support for the Sahel region, which faces numerous environmental and socio-economic challenges.
