Kara Wolters, born on August fifteenth, nineteen seventy-five, is a distinguished American former collegiate and professional basketball player, as well as a current sports broadcaster. Standing at an impressive six feet seven inches, she earned the nickname "Big Girl" and holds the title of the tallest player in the history of the University of Connecticut women's basketball program. Her remarkable height places her among the tallest women to have ever played in the WNBA.

Throughout her illustrious playing career, Wolters achieved numerous accolades, including being an NCAA national champion in nineteen ninety-five, a FIBA world champion in nineteen ninety-eight, a WNBA champion in nineteen ninety-nine, and an Olympic champion in two thousand. She is one of only eleven women to have attained this prestigious combination of titles. Additionally, she was honored as the AP College Player of the Year in nineteen ninety-seven.

After concluding her professional playing days, Wolters transitioned into broadcasting, beginning her journey as a radio color commentator for women's basketball on WTIC (AM). Since two thousand twelve, she has been the in-studio analyst for women's basketball on SNY. Beyond her broadcasting career, she is dedicated to nurturing young talent through the Kara Wolters Dream Big Basketball Camp in Connecticut.
