Personal Facts, Age, Height and Biography of Karel Kramář

Karel Kramář, born on December twenty-seventh, eighteen sixty, was a prominent Czech politician known for his significant role in the Young Czechs party. His political career flourished in the Austrian Imperial Council, where he served from eighteen ninety-one to nineteen fifteen. Kramář became the party leader in eighteen ninety-seven, advocating for Czech interests during a tumultuous period in Central European history.

During the First World War, Kramář faced imprisonment for treason against Austria-Hungary, a consequence of his unwavering commitment to Czech nationalism. However, he was later released under an amnesty, allowing him to return to political life. In nineteen eighteen, he took the helm of the Czechoslovak National Committee in Prague, which played a pivotal role in declaring independence on October twenty-eighth.

Following the establishment of Czechoslovakia, Kramář became the first Prime Minister of the newly formed state. His tenure was short-lived, as he resigned less than a year later due to policy differences with other leaders. Despite his resignation, Kramář remained an influential figure in the National Assembly until his death in nineteen thirty-seven, although his conservative nationalism often clashed with the prevailing political ideologies represented by contemporaries such as Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and Edvard Beneš.
