She made her mark in the world of competitive skiing by specializing in the Downhill discipline, where she showcased her remarkable speed, reaching up to one hundred forty kilometers per hour, or eighty-seven miles per hour.
Stemmle's career on the World Cup Alpine Ski Circuit spanned five years, during which she achieved notable success. Her best finishes included a commendable fourth place in both Verbier, Switzerland, and Sunshine, Alberta, Canada.
